Puglia, our territory
Territory

In this generous region grape acclimates excellently, fitting with success in the rich mosaic of Apulian history and nature. In fact, Puglia is an ideal area for grape growing, with average temperatures of about 17.5 ° and with average annual rainfall below 500 mm, with rare showers of high intensity, concentrated in the period between October and March, during vine’s still cycle. The winds, mostly south-east and north, have high average intensity and a uniform distribution.

Its red soil, especially clay and limestone, benefiting from the "Mediterranean climate", guarantees aromatic wealth and structure in wines expertly produced by Conte di Monforte.
